The low geographical ambient temperature allowed for welding of weathering steel is as follows:

1, carbon steel and general ferritic stainless steel (A-Ⅰ class) : -10℃

2, carbon steel and general ferritic stainless steel, heat strength steel and carbon tool steel (A-Ⅱ, Ⅲ, B-Ⅰ class) : 0℃

3, heat strength steel and carbon tool steel (B-Ⅱ, Ⅲ class) : 5℃

When any of the following situations occur in the geographical environment of electric welding, certain effective protective measures should be taken, otherwise, electric welding is prohibited:

1. The wind speed of manual arc welding exceeds 8 meters /s. The wind speed of manual arc laser welding exceeds 1 m /s;

2, the relative humidity of the air exceeds 90%;

3, the weldment splash water, rain or contact with fog;

4, when the welding temperature is below 0℃.
